At the heart of the Reiki tradition is the intention of service. This concept is nowhere better utilized than when the Reiki gift is offered to realign and heal conditions, relationships and situations in the lives of others. No positive force of the human experience exceeds the function of Divine Love expressed in unconditional compassion and service to those who request it.
Healing requests are sacred. Asking for the personal intervention of others, whether spiritual, emotional, or physical, is a symbol of surrender and vulnerability that exceeds the needs of selfish ego….one that joins us together in the single moment of creation. We are bound by a common need to bring into perfect alignment all the present creative forces and elements, both seen and unseen…. an agreement for healing and perfection of the omnipresent human condition. In that knowledge, we are bound by intentional service to create and sustain the optimum conditions for life.
